Happy Easter! :)

A funny thing happened during the church service, more specifically was during the baptism...pouring of blessed water onto the heads of the young men and women. Father seem to be very enthusiastic in pouring the water, he was splashing them with the water. It got on their shoulders and a few seem to have wet backs afterwards hehehe.

We were at the parish hall, so we were watching on the screen, enjoying the splashing when suddenly the screen went blank and someone said 'Ala....' in a disappointed tone. It seemed funny to me, seems we were enjoying the splashing a bit too much. The screen wasn't blank for long though and we resumed our enjoyment hahaha.

Wow, amazing isn't it? She is living in Manhattan, one place that I so want to go to one day. Having a small living space is all right, the important thing is that it must be well organized and clean :)

If I suddenly laugh or cry with earphones on, it most probably be because I am listening to this audio book. Ahahhaha :) I feel like jumping up and down and smiling a big big smile :D

Anyone out there that shares my excitement and happiness? Ngehehhee.

Waiting for another audio book but that one I think will take a while longer. Never mind, I have this delicious one to enjoy hahahahhaa :D

Fallen Cheezy Wedges

So yesterday I went and bought myself a Zinger burger with cheezy wedges and of course the drink. As usual, I tied up the plastic holding the drink but didn't do it for the burger and wedges. The wedges was on top of the burger and I placed the plastic on the front passenger seat. I couldn't wait to eat it YUmmm :D

Anyway, driving home, have to go round a roundabout. So I did. And woooosh...the plastic bag slid over to the passenger door. I managed to hold on to the plastic and arrived safely home. I picked up the plastic with the burger and wedges but I didn't see any wedges inside. OH NO! It managed to slid off the seat!

I opened the passenger door and saw the poor cheezy wedges all clumped, fallen from their little box of cheezy goodness onto the little space between the door and the seat. Urgh!!

What did I do next? Well, picked it all up, rinsed it with water...and ate it.All.

Was it desperation or not being wasteful or just plain crazy? Don't know, don't care but I think it is funny.....and crazy....*sigh*

Tama & I: Macam Itik & Ayam (Like a duck & chicken)

So the other day, I was talking with Tama and we had the following conversation (my handphone was on the table):

Tama : Ko tau tu sundait?

Me     : Sundait? Pa tu?

Tama : Sundait ba....pertakaan.

Me     : Ha? Pertakaan? 

Tama : Iya, pertakaan. Sundait.

Me    : Pertakaan ka perkataan? (I thought she said it wrongly)

Tama : Bukan, pertakaan ba...aiya macam mana mo kasi tau ko ni? (Tama was    saying this in Dusun hahhaa)

Me     : Tidak tau, apa tu pertakaan?

Tama : Pertakaan ba....mana si Rica? (Rica is my 12 year old cousin. She ask Rica what is sundait and explain it to me, but Rica also doesn't know it hahaha)

Me     : Saya sms si Mums la hahahha...(I smsed my mum asking her what is sundait hahaha)

Tama  : Ya sms la dia...susah betul mo kasi tau ni...hmmm...(after I have sent the message then she said..) Mo taka-taka baitu...

Me     : Oh teka teki ka tu sundait? 

Tama : Iya hahahha oh taka taki?

Me    : Teka teki hhahaha

This is one of the example of the conversation that we have hahaha, like a chicken talking with a duck, having communication problems but ours is fun and with laughter hahha. 

Then she gave me a sundait, what only takes 2 fingers but everyone can know very quickly? The answer is ----> sending a message (sms) :)

Was I persuaded? hmmmmm

So I have not written anything for a long long time now. I thought of deleting this blog, just because. Well, just because I was tired and have not much to say, well actually I do but I rather not say it haha.

Anyway, during my course just now, it was about writing in blogs, and I thought .... what happened to my blog? Should I? Shouldn't I?

I don't know what it means, but sure sounds fun, and fun to say hahahha

To answer my own question, I guess I was & why not yeah? ehhehe

Got a new bottle of perfume from my sister in law :) from Philippine :D

And then got the dslr camera from my brother...woohooo...well actually my dad wanted it but we all wanted it hahhaa...I'll try my hand at it....I do have my own camera but its nothing like a dslr :)

Any sort of presents are lovely to receive though isn't it? Chocolates, flowers, rings, clothes, books, love letters.....just to name a few...

Dinner and Long Chats

with a few of my good old friends :) Feel very full of food and drink and happy and a bit sad at the same time too.

Happy to know that my friends are well and healthy and that 2 will be tying the knot this year :D

Sad to know that a few of us have things to sort out in our own lives, knowing that we could and should have better. Feels better to be able to talk about things, without judgement...so thankful to have them as friends.

Met an old colleague in the social site, chatted a bit, good to know that things are well with and for him :)

I want more!!

PS: It is scary to think about What Ifs.....and hard to stop.....

PS2: I think my cat (lying on my lap) just farted...........

Mathematics and Life

During Maths class with my Year 6 today, we did addition and subtraction again since not one of them could do all the calculations without any mistake (hehe more practice right), so anyway this one kid was counting out loud and I was looking down his shoulder and it was 4 plus 7. He was counting out loud and was kinda singing too, saying '4, 7, ~moving of fingers as in to count~ and he said straight away, '16' and I was like 'ha?' and he looked up and looked at me and said quickly 'ehhhhh....11'.... and his two friends sitting next to him burst out laughing....and I could not help myself but smile at their antics....but really goodness me....hope they can do great with multiplication and division :)

I promised them that the winner of the Bingo game we played earlier this month would get a small gift from me and I finally got to it today hahhaa bad of me.....I got pencils, erasers and sharpeners of different sizes and brands and numbered them all. All in total are 7 small gifts which the winner had to pick out the number. So one girl from Year 6 and one girl from Year 5. Year 5 girl got the cute erasers (erasers shaped as Coca Cola) and Year 6 girl got the Exam Pad eraser. Erasers are such important thing here, 3 or 6 kids can share 1 eraser.....

Was almost involved in a front crash/accident this morning on the way to school....well not almost, thank goodness I was able to drive safely into the spot near the bus stop....the Kembara was trying to overtake the big ass lorry but it was kinda slow....and honestly I did not see any car coming towards me in the lane that was supposed to be going the other way...do you understand this? Hmmm....everything was fine but I was a bit shaken up...I was carrying other people's kids with me....Thank goodness for being protected by my guardian angels....

Hmmm that seems to be all today, I'm itching to go and watch Bones and eat some more chocolates ngehehhehe :) I've been a bit bad with those chocolates :p

edit: guessed my almost accident story did not well flow as well as I had hoped, bad writer/blogger.....not fluent enough mwahahahha.... oh well.......

Year 1 and the Program Transisi

Urgh a bit of a headache at school today thinking about the year 1 lessons, should I continue with lessons or go back to the Program Transisi? It should be Program Transisi with them for 3 weeks but I thought heck what am I suppose to be doing with them during those hours? Better not waste the time and start the lessons........... but then I found out that I went about it the wrong way (haha my bad, so sorry kids)

...so I thought again, since PPD are going to be visiting again sometime next week, I should probably continue with lessons since I have started it, right? Hmmmm...but the kids are still unable to say Good Morning Teacher (the last time they said Good Morning....Class :) ahhaha) so that one I definitely have to do again...and also how to say that they want to go to the toilet or wash their hands, finished their work and so forth. *sigh* :)

I asked around too (well only 2 teachers) and both said I should go with the Program Transisi. Even though I heard 2 other teachers teaching already in the Year 1 class...oh well I will go with the Program Transisi but with my own lesson on English and salutations and those I mentioned earlier :)

But there is one or more slot that stated Learning of the school song...and I myself do not know the school song, I mean I know if I hear the kids sing it but if not I don't...and I don't have the sounds...maybe ask a few of the older kids to sing and I record them singing and play it back again for the year 1 kids? Yeah? yeah I can do that, have to get a recorder thingy or radio....hmmm...

But anyway for tomorrow, I will teach them the salutations and other sentences (hehe) and the sound of the letters, in other words, phonics....start slow...not sure if the material I got from the net is the correct phonics or not but since it was the only one available and free...well...hope for the best...Of course I will look for more silly hhahaha...can't be teaching them the wrong stuff now right... :)

First Week

So the first week of school :) ..... yesterday I heard something funny hehhehee.

The next class, a year 4 class was talking about warm blooded animals with their teacher and the teacher asked them what does warm blooded means? Why are the animals called warm blooded?

The kids answered it is because their blood is red in colour...nope said the teacher and I smiled at the answer given by the kids ....

so another kid tried to answer and he said maybe it is because their blood is boiling.....hehe
