And it is Monday too. So what happened today? Let me tell you, lure you into my world muahahhaha ok ok....
So as per usual, woke up early at 5 am, shower, made Vico drink for breakfast (which is not usual actually), dressed and went down before 6.30. Last week when the taxi driver was on leave, we (well actually me) went down much earlier at 6.15 or so to catch a taxi. So this morning, those other people ask why we didn't go down early today. But I don't know, maybe I am reading too much into the way she is asking the question, that I feel it was actually to meant something about me. Paranoid I think me. Hmm.
Got into the taxi, went to school, got my lesson plan for English later that day checked, was told to just follow the scheme of work for my English lesson plan, which I didn't really understand as I still need to know which unit they have covered up to Friday, went to the assembly, got class relief for Year 1 after the assembly, class Pendidikan Moral, went there but was told to enter Pendidikan Agama class Year 1 instead. I didn't know what to do for discussion so I just discussed about nilai-nilai moral. The kids were noisy even after many times asking them to be quiet, I shushed them and that made them quiet for a while, was glad that the time was over soon (hehehehe) as I didn't know what else to do to occupy them, I could have made them draw their pets and colour it, but at that time when the idea came, it was 5 minutes more till end of the lesson time. So that was my taste of Year 1 kids. Then I went back to the staff room, marked the Maths Division worksheet, made me dizzy, went to eat, came back and marked all of the worksheets. Some did a fairly good job, some didn't, some have the answers but no workings, some were very careless. I am now wondering how to make sure that all know how to do division before we go into the next topic which is Fractions (argghhhhh).
After that, I checked back my English lesson plan, made small notes of what and how I wanted to do the lesson, saw that I wrote word cards but didn't prepare any word cards, went to class, I started the lesson this time, got into reading and asked the pupils to read again. They read fairly well, though I think some only moved their mouths but didn't actually do any reading out loud. Should have asked them to read group by group. I think I rushed my lesson there especially the practising of reading sentences. The activity was for them to copy the sentences into their exercise book. They finished early and so became restless and noisy. My cooperating teacher came in then and gave them work to do. She also ended the lesson (giving me points on how to do it). I still have more to learn!!
So that was it for the school but then came the best part. At one o'clock, A said they wanted to go and tapau food, so I said ok, me and Kak went to sign out and proceeded to go and wait for them at the bus stop but then Kak said to just wait for them at the taxi stand in front of the hospital. So we went there. Nothing was said about anyone being late or whatever, but when the 2 came there, after calling Kak, A asked if there were any taxi that passed by, I answered one but we didn't flag it down because we were waiting for you guys. Then suddenly A said it you girls want to go home quick, its fine if you go first and take the taxi. So I said but then it would be expensive if there were only 2 of us. Much better if there were 4 of us to split the fare. No it depends A said. Depends on what exactly?? What is she trying to say? Fine really if I really want to go back then I will take the taxi first but would it be fair to the rest of them?
Don't really know what is happening, so I will just ignore it.
